“It’ll Probably Be a While Before I Can Believe It!” National Lottery Winners Celebrate Incredible Prizes at HQ!
€30,000 per month for 30 years up for grabs in tonight’s EuroDreams draw
23/10/2025
Winners from across the country made the trip to Lottery HQ this week to claim fantastic prizes from a variety of draw and Scratch Card games.
First in was a Kentstown local who was full of excitement in the Winners Room after claiming the top prize of €30,000 on a Cashword Doubler Scratch Card, purchased at Centra Ashbourne, Garden City, Ashbourne, Co. Meath.
“I still can’t believe it, it’s very surreal” he said. The Scratch Card was received as a gift the previous weekend, and upon revealing the top prize, he recalled, “I was sitting at the kitchen table when I scratched the card. I immediately called my partner over to show her. She wouldn’t believe me, even though it clearly said €30,000 right in front of us!” he laughed.
The Meath man plans to use the prize money to buy a new van and save the remainder for the future.
A Dublin man also made his way to Lottery HQ to claim his €19,706 EuroMillions Match 5 prize from the 3rd October draw. His winning ticket was purchased from Mount Merrion Stores, 75 Deer Park Road, Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin
Reflecting on the win, he shared, “Funnily enough, it was my Dad who heard about the winning ticket and remembered where I’d bought mine. Only for him, the ticket would probably still be tucked away in my wallet!”
The Dubliner is now planning to replace his phone, which he smashed the day before - a perfectly timed prize!
Also claiming a fantastic prize was a Dublin woman who collected her cheque worth €45,005, after winning the Snowball prize in the Telly Bingo draw on Friday, 3rd October. The winning ticket was purchased at Rossfield Stores on Rossfield Avenue in Tallaght, Dublin 24. The winner had no idea that she had the winning ticket until this week.
“It took me three weeks and two days to realise I had the winning ticket! I’d even talked about the Snowball prize being won at that shop but never imagined it was mine. While searching through the press over the weekend, I found the ticket and scanned it - €45,005! I was over the moon. My dad was the first person I told, and he didn’t believe me. It still feels surreal to be sitting here, it’ll probably be a while before I can believe it!”
Dream Bigger with EuroDreams - €30,000 a Month for 30 Years
Meanwhile, players dreaming of becoming Ireland’s newest National Lottery winner are reminded that tonight’s EuroDreams top prize continues to be boosted to an incredible €30,000 per month for 30 years.
A special event in the game, which kicked off on Thursday, 2nd October, means that the top prize will remain boosted until it is won. The EuroDreams Tier 1 prize is typically €20,000 per month for 30 years but during this special game event, players have the chance to win even bigger than usual.
The game mechanics remain the same, players must match all six winning numbers and the Dream number to win – now they simply have the chance to win more. If the top prize is not won tonight, the boosted prize event will continue until there is a winner.
In September, an online player in Wicklow became Ireland’s first Tier 1 EuroDreams winner, while eight Tier 2 winners have also celebrated wins in Dublin (4), Kerry (2), Cork (1), and Wicklow (1).
EuroDreams is played in eight countries, namely Ireland, Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland, with draws every Monday and Thursday evening.
Players hoping to win big are reminded that tickets can be purchased in-store, via the National Lottery app, or at www.lottery.ie before the 7.30pm cut-off time this evening.
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total, more than €6.5 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 37 years ago. In 2024 alone, €239.3 Million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
Play National Lottery games responsibly, play for fun.
