From Under a Pillow to the Winners Room: Kildare Syndicate and Dublin Player Claim €400,000 in Scratch Card Prizes

It's been a SPECTACULAR September for two National Lottery players from Dublin and Kildare after each winning the €200,000 top prize on the All Cash Spectacular Scratch Card.

Celebrations in Kildare were impossible to contain when a family syndicate discovered they had won the Scratch Card's top prize. The winning Scratch Card was sold at Spar Service Station, Woodstock Street, Athy, Co. Kildare.

"There were tears of joy in the living room when we learned we were holding the winning Scratch Card! We quickly had to quieten down so the neighbours wouldn't know something big had happened!"

While waiting to claim the prize, the head of syndicate always kept the Scratch Card close by, even bringing it to bed with them.

"It stayed under my pillow. I suppose you could say I was keeping it close enough so that I could dream about what we could do with the win!”

Dublin Player’s Shopping Trip Turns into €200,000 Win

Meanwhile what quickly turned from an ordinary shopping trip to a six-figure prize claim, a Dublin player was the second player in September to win the €200,000 All Cash Spectacular Scratch Card top prize! The winning Scratch Card was sold at Circle K Hartstown, Hartstown Road, Clonsilla, Dublin 15.

The winner admitted it took some time to fully take in what had happened.

"You hear about people winning all the time, but to be sat here today in the winner's room is very surreal, I just can't believe it, I only went in for milk and eggs, and now I'm sat here in the Winners Room."

"I thought it was €20,000 at first. I didn't see the extra zero!"

The winner said the prize will make an upcoming holiday even more enjoyable.

"I'm heading on holiday, so I'll make it extra special now with a few upgrades to the trip and properly enjoy the win!"

Dublin Music Fan Hits the Right Note with €20,000 All Cash Gold Win

A Dublin player is celebrating after winning the top prize of €20,000 on an All Cash Gold Scratch Card purchased at Spar, 72 Fassaugh Avenue, Cabra, Dublin 7. Speaking as they collected their prize at National Lottery HQ, the winner revealed they had imagined there would be some dramatic fanfare when scratching to reveal a top prize on a Scratch Card.

"I always wondered what would happen when you scratched and revealed the top prize, would the scratch card burst into celebration with confetti? While the Scratch Card didn't burst into confetti, the feeling was every bit as exciting!"

The prize will help the winner pursue a number of creative ambitions while also mentioning one of the most rewarding aspects of the win will be the opportunity to give back to others.

"I've a few music projects on the go at the moment, so this will really help me bring those over the line. But the really special thing about this win, is being kind to people who were kind to me when I needed it."
