A EuroMillions player in Co. Tipperary is €500,000 richer this weekend after winning the EuroMillions Plus top prize in Friday night's draw (9th October).
The winner purchased their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw from Texaco Spar Service Station, John Street, Carrick on Suir in Co. Tipperary.
The numbers in Friday night's EuroMillions Plus draw (9th October) were: 1, 12, 20, 22 and 42.
National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan said, “It's set to be a memorable weekend for one EuroMillions player in Tipperary who has won the EuroMillions Plus top prize worth €500,000. We are encouraging anyone who purchased a ticket for Friday night's draw from Texaco Spar Service Station on John Street in Carrick on Suir to check their tickets very carefully, as one player has scooped the top prize. More than 45,000 players in Ireland won prizes across the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws on Friday night, with the Tipperary player taking the title of biggest winner of the night!”
The Friday night winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should make contact with our Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize in Lottery HQ.
As there was no winner of the €28,753,183 Jackpot on offer in last night’s draw, Tuesday’s Jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €40 Million.
