Meanwhile, a Waterford man recently claimed his EuroMillions match five and one lucky star prize worth €405,711, in the 31st October draw. The winning ticket was purchased from Mulhearns Foodstore in Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford.
Speaking about his incredible win, he said, “I heard the news breaking the following day. But after leaving the ticket in my car over the weekend, I didn’t check it until Sunday evening. I had to scan the ticket three times to believe what I was seeing - ‘You’ve Won Big!’ I couldn’t stop smiling for hours. I was so delighted!”
Now, he’s planning a Christmas celebration to remember.
