It was a night to remember for Lotto players across Ireland, as four incredible prizes were won in Saturday night’s draw, including the creation of a brand-new National Lottery Millionaire.
The standout win of the night came in Lotto Plus 1, where the €1 Million top prize was scooped by a Dublin player in the Saturday night draw. The Dubliner purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw.
The numbers for the Saturday, 18th April, Lotto Plus 1 draw were: 2, 3, 5, 16, 32, 42 and the Bonus was 15.
The National Lottery has confirmed that the shop that sold the winning Lotto Plus 1 ticket will be revealed on Tuesday, 21st April.
But that wasn’t the only reason for celebration! THREE other Lotto players also struck it big, matching five numbers plus the Bonus to each take home a fantastic €58,471.
Two of those Match 5 + Bonus wins were won by players in Co. Waterford. One winning ticket, purchased on the day of the draw, was sold at Spar Lismore Park, 2 Tyrone Road, Lismore Park, Waterford.
The second Waterford winner also bought their Quick Pick ticket on draw day at Tesco Ballybeg, Kilbarry Road, Ballybeg.
The third Match 5 + Bonus prize was won by a player in Dublin who purchased their Quick Pick ticket online.
The numbers for the Saturday, 18th April, main Lotto draw were: 5, 6, 11, 18, 40, 45 and the Bonus was 24.
National Lottery spokesperson, Emma Monaghan, shared, “It’s been an incredible night of wins for Lotto players right across Ireland, with one player in the capital becoming the newest National Lottery Millionaire of 2026. And the celebrations didn’t stop there - not one, not two, but THREE players matched five numbers plus the Bonus to each take home a fantastic €58,471. We’re urging all players to check their tickets very carefully today. If you discover you’re holding a winning ticket, be sure to sign the back of it, keep it safe, and contact our Prize Claims team!”
The Saturday night winners are advised to sign the back of their tickets and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prizes at Lottery Headquarters. The online winner has also been notified to check their National Lottery account for details of their latest win.
As there was no winner of the €7,120,443 Jackpot on offer, Wednesday’s Lotto Jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €7.5 Million.
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total, more than €6.5 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 39 years ago. In 2024 alone, €239.3 Million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
