Busy Donegal Travel Stop Produces €500,000 EuroMillions Plus Winner!

A stop at one of Donegal's busy commuter routes could prove to be worth €500,000 after a EuroMillions Plus top prize winning ticket was sold at Spar Bridgend, Buncrana Road, Bridgend, Co. Donegal.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Monday, 14th September , making the player the biggest winner in the country from last night’s draw.

The winning numbers in the Tuesday, 15th September EuroMillions Plus draw were: 08, 10, 25, 30, 41.

National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer said: “With a steady stream of motorists calling into the busy Spar Bridgend store each day, the winner could be anyone who stopped by on Monday and picked up a EuroMillions ticket that is now worth €500,000! We are encouraging players who purchased a ticket at the store that day to check it carefully. The holder of the winning ticket should sign the back of it and keep it somewhere safe. They can contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie, and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize at National Lottery headquarters. And that’s not all! In total more than 36,000 players across Ireland won prizes in Tuesday night’s EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws, but one ticket sold in Donegal now holds a prize worth €500,000!”
