A player in Co. Meath matched all five numbers in Friday night’s EuroMillions Plus draw (16th October) to win the €500,000 top prize!
The Meath player completes a remarkable run of three top prize wins in three consecutive draws, following a €500,000 EuroMillions Plus top prize win in Tipperary on Friday, 9th October and another €500,000 EuroMillions Plus top prize in Wexford on Tuesday, 13th October.
The Meath player purchased their Quick Pick ticket on Thursday 15th October from Gillen’s Londis, Dublin Road, Trim, Co. Meath.
The winning numbers in Friday night's EuroMillions Plus draw (16th October) were: 6, 8, 24, 35 and 40.
National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer said,
"What an incredible run for EuroMillions Plus players, with three €500,000 top prize winners in three consecutive draws. First it was Tipperary, then Wexford, and now Meath has joined the celebrations after one player scooped the €500,000 top prize on Friday night. We are encouraging anyone who purchased a ticket for Friday night’s draw from Gillen’s Londis on the Dublin Road in Trim, Co. Meath, to check their ticket very carefully. More than 50,000 players in Ireland won prizes across the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws on Friday night, with the Meath player taking the title of biggest winner of the night!”
The Friday night winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should make contact with our Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize in Lottery HQ.
As there was no winner of the €49,735,760 Jackpot on offer in last night’s draw, Tuesday’s Jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €60 Million.
Meanwhile, tonight’s Lotto Jackpot is an estimated €2.8 Million. Players dreaming of winning big are reminded that tickets can be purchased nationwide in-store, through the National Lottery app or online at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.45pm cut-off time for sales this evening.
