A Daily Million player in Kildare got their week started in style after scooping the top prize of €1 Million in the 9pm draw on Monday night. The player purchased their ticket online to go on and take their spot on the roll call of highest wins so far this year.
The winning numbers in the 9pm Daily Million draw on Monday 16th February were: 09, 22, 27, 31, 33, 39 and the bonus was 37.
The winner has since made contact with the National Lottery Prize Claims team and arrangements are now being made for them to visit Lottery Headquarters to collect their €1 Million top prize.
Last Friday 13th February, a Euro Millions player in Dublin took the title of first National Lottery Millionaire of the year after winning an incredible €1,005,000 in the special EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle. The winner purchased their winning ticket at the Spar store at 122 Drumcondra Road Upper in Dublin 9.
And that wasn’t the only huge win for Dublin last week. A Lotto player scooped the top prize of €250,000 in the Lotto Plus 2 draw last Wednesday 11th February after purchasing their ticket at Circle K in Grosvenor Service Station on the Rathmines Road in Dublin 6.
Meanwhile, it could be another Wednesday to remember this week as the Lotto Jackpot is set to soar towards an estimated €10.2 Million in tomorrow night’s draw. If the jackpot is won tomorrow night, the potential winner will take the title of first Lotto Jackpot winner of 2026 while also becoming Ireland’s newest multi-Millionaire.
National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr said: “In less than seven days, we have seen players win big across Lotto, EuroMillions and Daily Million. Our Leinster players have come out on top so far this year with two millionaires and a top prize win of €250,000 in Dublin and Kildare. With Wednesday night’s Lotto jackpot heading towards an estimated €10.2 Million, could we see another player celebrating big this week? Players dreaming of becoming the next National Lottery millionaire are reminded that tickets for the midweek Lotto draw can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the cut-off time for sales at 7.45pm on Wednesday evening.”
