EuroMillions Rolls Over for Fourth Time Ahead of Tonight’s €250 Million Jackpot!
Dublin Player Collects Cheque for €500,000 EuroMillions Plus Top Prize
17/06/2025
The EuroMillions Jackpot rolls once again! With no winner in the EuroMillions draw on Friday, 13th June, tonight’s Jackpot remains capped at that amazing €250 Million Jackpot. Could Ireland be celebrating its 18th EuroMillions Jackpot winner after tonight’s draw?
Meanwhile a Dublin player visited National Lottery HQ this week to collect their cheque for €500,000 after winning the top prize in last Friday’s EuroMillions Plus draw. The player becomes the 20th player this year to win the EuroMillions Plus Top Prize draw, and in total €10 Million has been awarded in prize money. The winning ticket was purchased at Daybreak, Loughlinstown Shopping Centre, Co. Dublin.
Speaking on the win, the ecstatic player said:
"I’ve felt like a hen guarding her golden egg, clutching this ticket like it was the most precious thing in the world! Ever since I found out I’d won, I’ve been buzzing with excitement and despite sitting on €500,000, I’ll continue eating beans on toast! I can finally give back to my family, help them out, and make life a little easier for the people I love. That’s what makes this win truly special."
The EuroMillions Jackpot reached its maximum cap on Friday, 6th June 2025, meaning this extraordinary prize cannot grow any further. But here’s the exciting part: on draws at cap, any excess money that would usually be allocated to the Jackpot will flow down to the next prize level at which there are winner(s).
On Friday, 13th June, as the Jackpot wasn’t won, 7 players across the EuroMillions community each won €4,493,786 after matching 5 numbers and 1 Lucky Star.
If no one wins the top prize in tonight's EuroMillions draw, the Jackpot will remain at €250 Million and must be won on Friday, 20th June. If no one matches all seven numbers on the Friday’s draw, then the entire Jackpot will roll down to the next prize level at which there are winner(s).
Players are reminded that tickets for tonight’s draw can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or at http://www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.30pm cut-off time for sales on tonight's draw.
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total, more than €6.5 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 37 years ago. In 2024 alone, €239.3 Million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
