An online player from Co. Kerry has kicked off their week in style, winning a dreamy €2,000 a month for the next five years in last night’s (16th June) EuroDreams draw. The winner matched six numbers on their Quick Pick ticket purchased on the day of the draw, securing the Tier 2 prize.
The winning numbers in last night’s EuroDreams draw were: 6, 17, 23, 29, 30, 35 and the Dream number was 3.
EuroDreams launched in Ireland just over two years ago, and unlike other draw-based games, the annuity Top Prize which is worth €7.2 Million will be paid in monthly tax-free payments of €20,000 spread over 30 years. Similarly, the Tier 2 prize will be paid in monthly tax-free payments of €2,000 spread over 5 years. The game is played in eight countries, namely Ireland, Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland, with draws taking place every Monday and Thursday evening at usual National Lottery agents nationwide, online or at www.lottery.ie or through the National Lottery app.
The National Lottery has confirmed that a notification and an email has been sent to the online player in Kerry. The winner is advised to make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize in Lottery Headquarters.
Emma Monaghan, spokesperson for the National Lottery said, “It was a magical Monday for one of our EuroDreams players in Kerry! What a way to start the week, with a prize that brings both financial peace of mind and a touch of luxury for the next five years. We’re absolutely delighted for our winner and look forward to welcoming them to the Winners Room very soon.”
Meanwhile, excitement is building ahead of tonight’s EuroMillions draw, with the Jackpot remaining capped at €250 Million following a rollover on Friday, 13th June. Could Ireland be celebrating its 18th EuroMillions Jackpot winner tonight? Players dreaming of becoming Ireland’s newest Mega-Millionaire are reminded that tickets for tonight's EuroMillions draw can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or at http://www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.30pm cut-off time for sales this evening.
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total, more than €6.5 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 37 years ago. In 2024 alone, €239.3 Million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
