Cork Celebrates Second National Lottery Millionaire this Easter Weekend!

Cork has gained its second National Lottery Millionaire of the Easter weekend after an online Daily Million player scooped the €1 Million top prize in Sunday’s 2pm draw.

The celebrations come just days after another Cork player pocketed €1,005,000 in Friday night’s special EuroMillions raffle event, with the winning ticket purchased at Marina XL Filling Station.

The winning numbers for the 2pm Daily Million draw on Sunday, 5th April, draw were: 2, 3, 15, 17, 23, 26 and the Bonus was 13.

National Lottery spokesperson, Emma Monaghan, shared “Cork has had an exceptional Easter weekend, with two National Lottery players becoming Millionaires within just a matter of days. Our latest Daily Million winner played online and has now secured the €1 Million top prize from Sunday’s 2pm draw".

An email has been sent to our latest online winner notifying them to check their National Lottery account for details of their incredible prize. Ireland’s latest Millionaire is advised to contact the Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie, and arrangements will be made for them to visit Lottery Headquarters to collect their prize!”

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total, more than €6.5 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 39 years ago. In 2024 alone, €239.3 Million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
