Two HUGE Jackpots set to brighten up the weekend for National Lottery players!
€130 Million Jackpot GUARANTEED for tonight’s EuroMillions Mega Draw
20/02/2026
This weekend, National Lottery players have not one, but two huge jackpots to play for across EuroMillions and Lotto games. Tonight’s EuroMillions Mega draw is set to see the jackpot guaranteed at €130 Million. If an Irish player was to win the massive Friday night amount, they would take the title of the first EuroMillions jackpot winner in Ireland of the year to date.
Players hoping to spend their weekend celebrating a big win are reminded that tickets can be purchased in-store, through the app or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.30pm cut-off time for sales this evening.
And that’s not the only incredible amount on offer. Tomorrow night’s Lotto jackpot is set to roll towards an estimated €10.8 million with tickets available nationwide ahead of the 7.45pm deadline on Saturday evening.
Meanwhile, a Carlow syndicate were over the moon this week to collect their Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize worth an incredible €195,118. They won their prize in the 7th February draw, after purchasing their ticket at Centra on the Burrin Road in Carlow.
“I was checking our ticket just as I always do but didn’t know there was a prize won that night. When I saw all those digits pop up, I got a total shock and so did everyone else when I told them. The first thing I did was put the ticket in the wardrobe for safe keeping. The win will definitely help towards buying a house, but a holiday in the summer to celebrate is the first thing to organise!”
A Cork man was thrilled to scoop the top prize of €75,000 on a €5 All Cash Platinum, which he purchased at the Costcutter store at O’Brien’s Service Station on the Bandon Road in Bishopstown, Cork. He admitted that keeping the win to himself was unavoidable initially due to busy schedules getting in the way of celebrating with family.
“My wife was the first person that I told but due to our shift patterns that week, it took two days before I could even share the news. I haven’t thought of what to do for myself just yet, but my wife needs a new car so that’s the first thing on the list!”
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total, more than €6.5 billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 37 years ago. In 2024 alone, €239.3 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland. Play National Lottery games responsibly, play for fun.
