The National Lottery Act
The National Lottery Act 2013 provides the legislative framework for the holding of a national lottery on behalf of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform. The Act was signed into law on 14th May 2013 and repealed the National Lottery Act 1986. The National Lottery Act 2013 also established the new Office of the Regulator of the National Lottery.

Make a protected disclosure
In Ireland, whistleblowing is more formally known as ‘making a protected disclosure’. If you are a ‘worker’ as defined under the Protected Disclosures Act 2014 as amended by the Protected Disclosures (Amendment) Act 2022, and have observed wrong-doing (as defined in the guide below) in a work related context, you can report the problem using this anonymous dedicated portal.
