Lucky white rabbit brings €30,000 win for Cork woman

‘Happy White Rabbit Day’ gushed a lucky lady from Cork City as she entered National Lottery offices with a winning scratch card worth €30,000 in her hand.

Marion Raymond from Farranree in Cork City won the top prize of €30,000 on a €3 CrossWord Doubler scratch card.

After buying her ticket on Tuesday January 31 in the Gala Express store in Farranree in Cork City, Marion described the excitement surrounding her win at home with her family.

'I was sitting at home yesterday matching my words and when saw that I had matched all ten, I was absolutely stunned!’

Marion added that she was very familiar with the National Lottery offices on Abbey Street in Dublin due to a previous big win on another scratch card. ‘I have been to the National lottery offices before, so I wasn’t going to get lost on the way,’ she laughed. ‘I won €25,000 a few years ago, I seem to be very lucky with the National Lottery scratch cards.'

‘We have our Lotto tickets bought for tonight’s big draw so I hope White Rabbit Day brings us some Lotto luck as well,’
