€100,000 in Lottery prizes for Dublin & Laois players

The shop that sold the winning €23.8 Million EuroMillions Jackpot ticket claimed by 22 Dublin bus drivers last July has “unlaoised” some more luck!

Lucky O’Hanlon’s Store in Portarlington, Co. Laois, sold kitchen designer, Siobhan Sweeney (pictured), a €3 All Cash Tripler Scratch Card which netted her a cool €30,000. A thrilled Siobhán came into National Lottery headquarters today to claim her prize.

‘I rarely buy scratch cards so this win is incredible. I need to buy a new car so the timing of the win couldn’t have been better,’ she said.

Siobhan was among a number of happy faces in National Lottery offices today to claim their winnings. A jubilant Dublin grandfather was joined by his family as he claimed  €71,023 after Match 5 + Bonus Number on Wednesday night’s Lotto. The winning ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at An Post on Upper Georges Street in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. Speaking about his spending plans following his €71,023 win, the retired Dub said:

‘I have no immediate plans for the money but we are a very close family so we will decide together. I absolutely love to travel so I plan to treat myself to some business class plane tickets and see the world in style,’ he grinned.
