The sky is the limit for whoever scoops Friday’s €150 MILLION EuroMillions Jackpot* (2 June 2017), the biggest so far this year! Could you become the next Irish EuroMillions winner? Play in store, on the National Lottery App, or online for your chance to reach cloud nine.
The MASSIVE Jackpot has now been rolling for seven weeks. Should your luck soar on Friday, here are seven ways you can spend your winnings:
1. Fly high!
Invest in your own jet plane. A lucky winner could afford to buy not one but four Superjet SSJ10 98-seater aircraft. Each Superjet boasts a luxurious Italian leather interior, designed by Pininfarina, the company which designs for Ferrari. The Superjet was the aircraft of choice for Ireland’s Euro 16 footballers and Leinster Rugby. It was recently added to the CityJet fleet.
2. Become a property mogul
With €150 million in the bank, you might decide to dip your toe in the Irish property market. Dublin-based property agent, Frank Knight, currently has seven apartment blocks on his books, including the Shelbourne Plaza, containing 52 units in the salubrious surroundings of Dublin 4. Initially listed at €18.5 million, the selling price could end up close to €22 or €23 million. So you will have plenty of change left over!
3. Sparkle with his and her jewellery
If you land the €150 million EuroMillions Jackpot you need no longer buy that anniversary or birthday gift from a petrol station forecourt. Consider ‘The Graff Pink' diamond ring when buying for her, a rare 24.78 carat pink diamond with a price tag of €41 million euro. And for him? Perhaps the Rolex Chronograph, one of the rarest watches in the world. Only 12 of this 1942 classic were ever made. One was recently purchased at a Christie’s auction for over €1 million.
4. Become a philanthropist
Irish American billionaire, Chuck Feeney, achieved his ambition of “giving while living”, divesting himself of his €7.6 billion fortune in philanthropy. The winner of Friday’s €150 million EuroMillions Jackpot could make a massive difference to people’s lives. Did you know that just by playing National Lottery games, players are contributing to Good Causes in their community? Of every €1 played on all National Lottery games, 30 cents is given to the Good Causes Fund.
5. Rule the high seas!
Set sail for amazing adventures and become the captain of your own ship with the Palmer Johnson Super Yacht, valued at €130 million. The yacht comes with a range of high-tech gadgetry and security features and has room for 12 guests and a crew of 27. It also includes supreme luxury features such as a swimming pool with waterfall features, a helipad (obviously), an onboard gym and a jacuzzi.
6. Live in the fast lane
You need no longer worry if your car doesn’t pass the NCT. If you win €150 million you will have your pick of luxury wheels. You can get into gear with the new custom Rolls Royce 'Sweptail' with its tapered, wood-panelled boat tail and arching, panoramic glass skylight stretching over the two-seat cockpit. Heck, you could buy one for each member of the family.
7. Score with your own football club!
You have followed your favourite football team for years. Now take a share in it! Shares in the richest football club in the world, Manchester United, are currently available for approx. €15 each. So why not buy 10 million shares and become an important player yourself? Or, closer to home, your local Airtricity League team could be bankrolled to domestic dominance - and towards the brink of Champions League qualification for a fraction of the price.
The current Jackpot roll will have raised in excess of €9.5 million for Good Causes after Friday’s EuroMillions draw.
