White Lottery Tickets

As part of our commitment to making it as convenient as possible to play our games, we have teamed up with selected retailers nationwide to offer the National Lottery’s most popular products through all Post Offices nationwide and selected Postpoint retailers. The new service will also be available through the Payzone retail network.

White Lottery Tickets

Games purchased through these networks will be printed as white National Lottery tickets. These new white National Lottery tickets are produced on the National Lottery’s Central Gaming System and are as equally valid as traditional National Lottery tickets.

What retailers are involved in the scheme?

We are increasing the number and range of National Lottery outlets which will include Post Offices and other retailers through An Post PostPoint and Payzone networks. We expect in excess of 1,000 outlets to participate over time.

Will these retailers pay out on prizes?

The new white tickets are the same as your usual National Lottery ticket and are completely transferrable across our retailer network. All of our An Post PostPoint and Payzone retail partners will support the validation of all draw-based games and scratch card prizes, regardless of where they are purchased.

All prizes up to and including €100 will be paid out by the retailer.

  • For prizes between €101 and up to and including €2,500, the retailer’s terminal will provide an option for the retailer to pay out this prize.
  • For prizes above €2,500, the retailers will not be able to validate the prize and customers will be referred to a Prize Claim Centre or to contact the National Lottery.

Is there any change to the price?

No. All National Lottery products will cost exactly the same across the National Lottery retail network.

Why is this being rolled out?

The objective of the National Lottery is to make it as convenient as possible for our players to play and in turn, to raise much needed funds for good causes.

What products will be available via An Post Postpoint and Payzone retailers?

A set of the National Lottery’s most popular products and operational retail functions will be available. Quick-Pick selections of Lotto (with Plus), EuroMillions (with Plus), DailyMillions (with Plus) and TellyBingo will be available from selected An Post PostPoint and Payzone retailers. In addition, the most popular National Lottery scratch cards will be available in-store.

Can I play my own Lotto / EuroMillions / DailyMillion numbers?

The An Post PostPoint/Payzone network will be retailing the National Lottery’s most popular products. However sales will be restricted to Quick Picks only and therefore the selection of a Player’s own numbers is not possible.

Why is Plus automatically included in my Lotto / EuroMillions / DailyMillion ticket?

Retailers in our An Post PostPoint/ Payzone network will have reduced functionality in their National Lottery offering. The products available in-store will only feature our most popular Draw Games products which includes our Plus draws and Quick Pick Play options.

Are scratch cards also available through the An Post PostPoint / Payzone network?

Yes. A limited selection of our most popular games will be available through our authorised An Post PostPoint/Payzone network.

Where can I find my local National Lottery retailer?

A comprehensive list of National Lottery retailers is available on the National Lottery App which is available on iPhone and Android devices.

Can I check my tickets at these new National Lottery retailers?

Ticket checking functionality will be available on the An Post PostPoint and Payzone terminals which will allow the retailer to check any National Lottery ticket for their customers. Players can also check their tickets on the National Lottery website and through the National Lottery App which is available on iPhone and Android.

Players can also check their tickets via traditional media outlets such as Aertel and trustworthy news sources.
