Shannon's Hopeline is a Dublin-based mental health charity that provides low-cost, community-based support to young people and families. Shannon’s Hopeline was established by two sisters, Sandra and Lisa Kelleher in memory of Sandra’s daughter, who tragically passed away by suicide. The charity offers play therapy for children from age four, talk therapy for young people up to age 25, a teens mental wellness camp, a breakfast club and a walking group for adults.

Shannon's Hopeline are Sport & Wellness Legends for their deeply personal and profoundly impactful work supporting the mental health of young people and families in Dublin. Judges were moved by the courage of its founders to turn devastating personal loss into a trusted community resource, building services from scratch, facing closed doors, and pressing on until they had a building, a team, and hundreds of young people supported through their service. Shannon's Hopeline holds their community together with compassion and determination. They are a legend.
