Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot set to roll to €9 million (est)

 

 

Lotto players in the Sunny South East of Ireland are being urged to check their tickets carefully today after one ticket holder came within one number of the massive €8,358,554 jackpot on offer in last night’s draw. The Wexford player matched five numbers and the bonus to win €162,228 in the Saturday night draw.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at the Applegreen Service Station in Millands, Gorey, Co. Wexford.

The winning numbers for last night’s (Saturday 31st July) Lotto draw were: 08, 11, 29, 42, 44, 46 and the bonus was 18.

The winning ticket holder is advised to sign the back of their ticket, which is now worth €162,228, and contact the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.

While there was no winner of the life-changing €8,358,554 jackpot on offer in last night’s draw, over 96,000 players across the country won prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws. Wednesday’s (4th August) Lotto jackpot is now set to roll to an estimated €9 million.

A spokesperson for the National Lottery said: “We are appealing to all of our Wexford Lotto players who purchased their tickets in the Gorey area to check their tickets carefully today after one lucky player matched five numbers and the bonus to win €162,228 in last night’s draw. The winning ticket holder is advised to sign the back of their ticket, keep it in a safe place and to make contact with our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize. Meanwhile, the jackpot continues to roll and on Wednesday it is set to roll to an estimated €9 million. We are reminding players dreaming of winning big that the cut-off time for purchasing Lotto tickets for the next draw is 7.45pm on Wednesday evening.”
