Wednesday night Lotto draw sees Dublin player win €34,118 

A Lotto player on the North County Dublin coast had a Wednesday night to remember after matching five numbers and the bonus to win €34,118 in last night’s Lotto draw (Wednesday 18th March). The midweek winner purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket on Tuesday 17th March at Dunnes Stores on Wendell Avenue in Carrickhill, Portmarnock, Co. Dublin.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday 18th March draw were: 16, 20, 30, 39, 46, 47 and the bonus was 43.

The Dublin winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize at Lottery Headquarters.

As there was no winner of the €3,711,847 Jackpot on offer, Saturday’s Lotto Jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €4.2 Million.

Meanwhile, a Galway man was delighted and still in shock to make the trip to the Winners Room this week to pick up his Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize from last Saturday’s draw. He scooped €42,191 in the 14th March draw after purchasing his winning ticket at the Spar shop in Carrowkeel, Kiltullagh, Athenry, Galway.

“I was scanning two tickets at the time and got the message ‘You’ve Won Big!’ I had no idea how much it could have been, so I called the Claims team immediately and in the space of about three minutes, I went from not knowing I had won anything to finding out I had a ticket worth €42,191. The only reason I even decided to check the tickets was because I was clearing out my pockets. I never would have thought of checking otherwise!”

The West of Ireland winner already has his plans in place.

“The first thing I’ll be doing is booking an Italian weekend away to celebrate!”
