Two players claim €350,000 in prizes across All Cash Scratch Card games

Cork player scoops €200,000 top prize after getting lost in the Rebel County

Surprise, Surprise! Limerick man lands €150,000 top prize win on brand-new All Cash Surprise game

It’s been a week to remember for two individual Scratch Card players from Cork and Limerick who each made the trip to Lotto HQ to pick up top prize amounts from two different All Cash Scratch Card games.

A Rebel County player won €200,000 on a €10 All Cash Spectacular Scratch Card which was purchased at the Centra store in Castlelyons, Co. Cork, following a journey that did not go quite to plan.

“I was completely lost! I was driving around Castlelyons, somewhere I had never been before, and I didn’t have a clue where I was. I must have taken one wrong turn and got myself totally off the beaten track. I finally stumbled upon the shop and said to myself sure I might as well buy a Scratch Card since I’ve never been here before and who knows if I’ll ever be back. It was probably the best story to ever come from getting lost. I got some shock when I saw all those zeroes. The mad thing was that I had only won €100 on a Scratch Card two weeks beforehand so my luck must well and truly be in. They say good things happen in threes so we’ll have to wait and see what could be next – maybe I could be back here again soon!”

Meanwhile, another Limerick man who purchased a €7 All Cash Surprise Scratch Card at The Ambassador Daybreak store in Dooradoyle was over the moon to see the top prize of €150,000 popping up on his ticket.

The brand new €7 All Cash Surprise Scratch Card has only been launched and already this Limerick man is one of four top prize winners of €150,000 available in the game.

Speaking in the National Lottery’s winners’ room, the Limerick man told how he was flabbergasted at seeing such a huge win on a Scratch Card:
“I get myself one Scratch Card each every week, it’s my little treat to celebrate the end of a long week. I saw the sign for the new All Cash Scratch Card in the shop and my curiosity got the better of me. It didn’t take long for me to realise I had won the top prize because my winning number came up on the first panel scratch – I thought that there must have been a mistake. Once I called through to the Lottery claims department, it was so matter of fact – I’d won €150,000. It’s just incredible.”

“I’m still trying to get my head around it still really. It’s a huge sum of money to get all at once so I’ll have to keep a level head. I haven’t told a soul about it yet so I’m looking forward to getting down to Limerick with the cheque to surprise my family, of course I’ll be spreading the joy with them and looking after them as much as I can. I’ll need to treat myself as well though and I’ve already started planning for a nice holiday to let the win soak in properly,” he said.
