Saturday’s Lotto Jackpot heading towards €12.5 Million Estimated!

Celebrations were underway in Cork and Galway last night after two Lotto players matched five numbers and the bonus in the midweek draw to scoop €54,583 each.

The Rebel County winner won their share of the Match 5 + Bonus prize after purchasing their Normal Play ticket on the day of the draw at Centra on the Main Street in Buttevant while the Galway winner purchased their Quick Pick ticket, also on the day of the draw, at Henchy’s Daybreak at 38 Eyre Square.

The winning numbers in the Wednesday 10th January draw were: 02, 08, 12, 26, 44, 45 and the bonus was 24.

The two winners, who now have tickets worth €54,583 each, are advised to sign the back of their tickets and contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for both winners to collect their prizes in Lotto HQ.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “Wednesday’s Lotto draw saw over 91,000 players nationwide win prizes across the Lotto and Lotto Plus games including two players in Cork and Galway who won €54,583 each. Both players matched five numbers and the bonus in the main draw to become the biggest winners of the night. We are urging all of our players in Cork and Galway to carefully check their tickets today as two players had a Wednesday night to remember. The winners should make contact with our prizes claims team who will make arrangements for them to visit the Winners Room in Lotto HQ and collect their winning cheques.”

“Meanwhile, as there was no winner of the €12,015,337 jackpot on offer in Wednesday night’s draw, the Lotto Jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €12.5 Million on Saturday night. For players dreaming of becoming the first Lotto Jackpot winner of 2024, tickets can be purchased in-store nationwide, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the cut-off time for sales at 7:45pm on Saturday evening.”
