Two players from Tipperary & Waterford share €104,988 Lotto prize in Saturday night’s draw

It was a bank holiday weekend to remember for two lucky Lotto players in Tipperary and Waterford who shared the Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize of €104,988 in last night’s Lotto draw. These ticketholders weren’t the only big Lotto winners as a further 103 players won a share in a special €1 million Lotto Plus Raffle top up.

The two lucky players from Tipperary and Waterford who won the Lotto Match + Bonus prize will each claim €52,494 after narrowly missing out on the €5,356,054 jackpot prize on offer. The Tipperary winner used their own lucky numbers on their ticket which they bought at Bergin’s Food Fair in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. The winning Waterford player purchased their Quick Pick ticket online at www.lottery.ie

The winning numbers from last night’s Lotto draw are: 01, 06, 18, 29, 31, 42 and the bonus number is: 12.

Saturday night’s Lotto draws produced in excess of 110,000 prize winners including 103 winners of the bumper Lotto Plus Raffle prize who will each collect €10,209, sharing an additional €1 million which was added to the draw to celebrate the bank holiday weekend. The National Lottery is now asking Lotto players across the country to check their tickets to see if they are one of the 103 lucky shareholders in the €1 million prize! The all-important Lotto Plus Raffle number which will land players €10,209 each is: 4532

The National Lottery has also confirmed that all top tier prize winners of €15,000 and over (€10,000 for online winners) will be processed via an approved postal process due to Government restrictions currently in place. Prize winners of €15,000 and over (€10,000 for online players) are encouraged to contact the National Lottery Claims Department by calling 1800 666 222 or by emailing claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for the prize to be paid through the approved postal claims process.

As per our usual claims process, prizes up to and including €100 may be claimed at any National Lottery agent store across the country. Agents may pay higher prizes (up to and including €2,500) at their discretion. An Post Prize Claim Centres guarantee payment of prizes less than €15,000.

A spokesperson for the National Lottery said: “There are a lot of big winners waking up throughout the country today a lot richer after last night’s Lotto draws. While the two players in Tipperary and Waterford will be €52,494 better off, there are also 103 additional winners scattered throughout the country who have won €10,209 each. What we are asking all of our players to do is to check their tickets –or if they play online –check their emails and accounts to see if they are a prize winner. Each of winners of the Raffle who purchased their tickets in-store can claim their prize at their local An Post Prize Claim Centres or by contacting the National Lottery. We continue to remind our players to keep their tickets safe, and to continue to heed the advice of Government and practise social and physical distancing if they are collecting prizes in store.”

There was no winner of last night’s Lotto jackpot of €5,356,054 which rolls to an estimated €6 million for next Wednesday’s draw (28th October).

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. In total more than €5.8 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 33 years ago.
