Capital Gains as three Dublin National Lottery players scoop more than €2.5 million in Euromillions prizes
The National Lottery has put Dublin on high alert this morning after it revealed that three tickets, totalling a cool €2.5 million, were sold in the Capital.
Dublin has two brand new millionaires this morning, after the National Lottery’s ‘Fortnight of Fortunes’ come to a dramatic close last night (Friday 13th November) when not one, but two EuroMillions players in Dublin won a life changing €1 million each.
Another ticketholder in Dublin also won the EuroMillion Plus top prize of €500,000, meaning that three players in the county took home a combined €2.5 million on last night’s draw alone.
The two ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ winning raffle codes in last night’s EuroMillions draw, which are both worth €1,005,000 (One Million and Five Thousand Euro) are as follows:

Last night’s EuroMillions draw was the fourth and final draw in the National Lottery’s EuroMillions ‘Fortnight of Fortunes’ which guaranteed to make five brand new millionaires in Ireland over two weeks with a series of special EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ events.
A National Lottery spokesperson said it will reveal the name of the two Dublin retail stores where both tickets were purchased on Sunday and said: “What a lucky couple of week’s it’s been for our players in Dublin! Not only did Dublin EuroMillions players win both €1 million prizes last night, but across our ‘Fortnight of Fortunes’ Dublin took home four of the five €1 million prizes, with one going west and won in Galway. The capital’s luck doesn’t end there as another lucky person in Dublin 8 is €500,000 better off after matching all the numbers on the EuroMillions Plus draw. So we are asking players all across Dublin this morning to check their tickets very carefully, being sure to check their numbers and raffle codes. If you are one of these lucky ticketholders, we ask you to sign the back of the ticket and contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and we will make arrangements for you to collect your prize. And of course, as with any prize win over €1 million, it is important that we inform the winning retailer and of course to give the winning ticketholder the time and space they need to let this amazing win to sink in.”
The EuroMillions Plus winning ticket, worth €500,000, was sold at The Yard Foodmarket on Clancy Quay, Islandbridge, Dublin 8. The winning numbers in the EuroMillions Plus draw were: 14, 17, 28, 32 and 36.
The first two ‘Fortnight of Fortunes’ €1 million winning tickets were sold in Dublin. One was bought at the Mace store in the Deansrath shopping centre in Clondalkin, Dublin 22, on Tuesday 3rd November. The second was bought at the Bookstation store in Stillorgan Shopping Centre, Stillorgan, Co. Dublin. Last Tuesday, a ticket bought in Sweeney Oil service station in Clifden, Co. Galway made one lucky player the third ‘Fortnight of Fortunes’ millionaire.
Typically, in every single EuroMillions draw, ten players in Ireland win €5,000 on the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’. In last night’s draw, an additional €1 million was added to the special raffle draw and among the ten winners of €5,000, one of those winners won an additional €1 million.
With more than 88,000 Irish winners from Friday’s EuroMillions jackpot draw, the National Lottery is encouraging all of its player to check their tickets carefully. There was no winner of the €67,599,950 jackpot on offer, which now rolls to a massive €75 million (est) next Tuesday.
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. In total more than €5.8 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 33 years ago. In 2019 alone, €252 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
