Tallaght player one number short of winning Lotto jackpot which rolls to an estimated €6.2 million on Saturday

Lotto players in Tallaght in Dublin are being asked to check their Lotto tickets for last night’s draw after one lucky player won the Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize of €43,998. The winner matched five numbers and the bonus ball, meaning they were one number short of winning the €5,734,259 Lotto jackpot on offer.

While there were over 82,000 prize winners in Wednesday night’s draw, there was no winner of the Lotto jackpot, which rolls to an estimated €6.2 million for the next draw on Saturday 31st October.

The winning Normal Play Quick Pick ticket which is now worth €43,998 was purchased yesterday (28th October) at the Tesco supermarket in the Square, Tallaght, Dublin 24.

The winning numbers from last night’s Lotto draw are: 05, 13, 15, 18, 27, 30 and the bonus number is 06.

The National Lottery has also confirmed that all high tier prize winners of €15,000 and over (€10,000 for online winners) may be processed via an approved postal process due to Government restrictions currently in place. Prize winners of €15,000 and over (€10,000 for online players) are encouraged to contact the National Lottery Claims Department by calling 1800 666 222 or by emailing claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for the prize to be paid through the approved postal claims process.

As per our usual claims process, prizes up to and including €100 may be claimed at any National Lottery agent store across the country. Agents may pay higher prizes (up to and including €2,500) at their discretion. An Post Prize Claims Centres guarantee payment of prizes less than €15,000.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. In total more than €5.8 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 33 years ago. In 2019 alone, €252 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
