National Lottery reveal winning locations of ten EuroMillions raffle prizes of €50,000

Check those Lotto Plus Raffle numbers! 96 players nationwide won €10,917 in Saturday night’s draw

The National Lottery are today urging players nationwide to check their weekend lottery tickets following huge raffle wins in this weekend's EuroMillions and Lotto draws. On Friday night (16th December), ten separate players won the EuroMillions 'Ireland Only Raffle' prize of €50,0000 while another 96 players shared an additional prize top-up of €1 million in Saturday's Lotto draw, each winning €10,917. 
 
The National Lottery has revealed the counties where TEN players won a whopping €50,000 EACH in Friday night’s EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ draw.    

Two players in Dublin, and players in Galway, Kildare, Kilkenny, Longford, Louth, Offaly, Sligo and Waterford all scooped the special raffle prize which was the tenth of twelve draws in the National Lottery’s ’12 Draws of Christmas’ EuroMillions promotion. 

This raffle event means that ten players will scoop €50,000 each in every EuroMillions draw every Tuesday and Friday between November 15th and December 23rd.    

The shops that sold the winning tickets are: 

  • Applegreen Booterstown, Merrion Road, Dublin 4.
  • Spar, The Crescent, Church Road, Dublin 15.
  • Lidl Oranmore, Galway.
  • Spar, Edward Street, Newbridge, Co. Kildare.
  • Applegreen, Bennetsbridge, Co. Kilkenny.
  • Spar, Main Street, Longford.
  • Daybreak/Applegreen, The Waterfront, Drogheda, Co. Louth.
  • Dolan's Clara Road, Tullamore, Co. Offaly.
  • Feeney's Costcutter, Dromore West, Co. Sligo.
  • Quinns, Youghal, Co. Waterford. 

There are only two draws left in this very special promotion. The next draw will take place this Tuesday 20th of December where ten more players are guaranteed to win the amazing €50,000 each. 
 
Also winning big in Friday's €40,613,995 EuroMillions jackpot draw was a Laois player who matched five numbers to win a prize worth €41,399. The winning ticket was sold at the Applegreen service station on the M7 in Abbeyleix, Co. Laois.

Meanwhile, there were even more winners in Saturday night’s Lotto draw which saw 96 players get a massive boost to their winnings as the National Lottery topped up the Lotto Plus Raffle with an additional €1 million. Last night, there were 96 Raffle winners which meant the boosted prize fund divided out to a prize of €10,917, for each Raffle winner.

The winning Lotto Plus Raffle number was: 5746 
 
There was no winner of last night's Lotto jackpot which was worth €8,847,086. Next Wednesday's (21st December) Lotto jackpot is set to roll to a massive €9.2 million. 

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “It has been a fantastic weekend for many of our players who got the perfect Christmas boost in our EuroMillions and Lotto Raffles. We are urging all our players to carefully check their tickets to see if they are one of the weekend's big winners. We are urging our big EuroMillions winners from the weekend to contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize before Christmas. The 96 winners of the Lotto Raffle prize worth €10,917 are advised to sign the back of their tickets and visit www.lottery.ie for details of their nearest An Post Prize Claim Centre where prizes up to €14,999 can be claimed.”
