Online EuroMillions player in Dublin becomes 24th National Lottery Millionaire of 2023

A National Lottery player in Co. Dublin is officially kicking-off their weekend as Ireland’s newest Millionaire following Friday night’s  (28th July) EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ draw.

Last night’s EuroMillions draw (28th July) included a special Raffle event which guaranteed a brand-new Millionaire in Ireland.

The winning ticket worth €1 Million was won by a player in Dublin who purchased their ticket online or through the National Lottery App. The National Lottery has confirmed that a notification to the user’s online account and a separate email has now been sent to the lucky Dublin ticket holder.

Typically, in every single EuroMillions draw, ten players in Ireland win €5,000 on the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’. In last night’s draw, an additional €1 Million was added to the special raffle draw and among those ten winners of €5,000, one of those winners won an additional €1 Million.

The ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ winning raffle code in last night’s EuroMillions draw, which is worth €1,005,000 Million to one online player in Dublin was:  I-PNJ-79632

While there were over 54,000 prize winners in Ireland in Friday’s EuroMillions draw, there was no overall winner of the jackpot prize which was worth in excess of €62 Million. Next Tuesday’s (1st August) EuroMillions jackpot is heading for an astonishing €70 Million.  A National Lottery spokesperson said, “What a start it is to the All-Ireland football final weekend for one of our Dublin players who is now officially a EuroMillions millionaire. We are asking all our online players to check their National Lottery accounts and tickets very carefully today as they will have received a notification and an email to inform them of their prize. Our big Dublin winner should contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prizes.”

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 34 years ago. In 2021 alone, €304 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
