A Million in Monaghan!

Daily Million player from Monaghan becomes 22nd National Lottery millionaire of 2023!


A National Lottery player from Co. Monaghan scooped the Daily Million top prize of €1 Million in last night’s 9pm draw (21st July). This marks the 11th top prize win in the Daily Million games so far this year and the 22nd National Lottery Millionaire of 2023.   

The winning numbers for Friday’s (21st July) 9pm draw were: 8, 10, 11, 30, 33, 38 and the bonus was 37 

The National Lottery will reveal the winning store location in the coming days. 

Meanwhile, last night’s EuroMillions draw (21st July) saw two Irish players win big, with one online winner matching 5 numbers and the bonus to take home a whopping €164,674. Another Irish player from Offaly picked up €38,487 after correctly matching 5 numbers. The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased in Spar, Arden Road, Tullamore, Co. Offaly. 

The winning numbers in last night's EuroMillions draw were: 7, 31, 33, 35, 36 and the Lucky Stars were 7 and 10  

There was no winner of last night’s Jackpot worth an incredible €38,938,247, which means Tuesday’s Jackpot  (25th July) rolls to an estimated €50 Million.    

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “It’s been a life-changing weekend for a Monaghan Daily Million player who now has a ticket worth €1 Million! Ireland’s newest Millionaire has officially become the 22nd National Lottery Millionaire of 2023. We will be announcing the winning store location in the coming days.” 

“Today we’re urging all Daily Million and EuroMillions players to check their tickets carefully and if they are the winner, we advise them to sign the back of their ticket and keep them safe. The winners should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prizes.”

In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 35 years ago.
