Midweek celebrations for Dublin and Mayo Lotto players who share €100,246 in Wednesday night’s draw

€1 million guaranteed to be won in this Saturday’s Lotto Plus Raffle

Two Lotto players from Dublin and Mayo will share a Lotto prize of €100,246 after they both matched five numbers and the bonus to win €50,123 each.

Both players were just one number away from the €3,225,135 jackpot on offer last night.

The Dublin player chose their own lucky numbers on a ticket which they purchased at the Mountview Mini Market in the Mountview Shopping Centre in Clonsilla, Dublin 15 on the day of the draw. The winner from Co. Mayo purchased their Quick Pick ticket in The Store in Ballintubber in Claremorris on Tuesday 27th April.

The winning ticket holders are advised to sign the back of their tickets and keep them in a safe place. They should contact the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prizes.

The Lotto numbers from last night’s draw (Wednesday 28th April) were: 01, 03, 26, 27, 41, 47 and the bonus number was: 16.

While there was no winner of last night’s €3.2 million Lotto jackpot, there were more than 73,000 players who won prizes. Saturday’s Lotto jackpot (1st May) will roll to an estimated €3.5 million.

This Saturday’s Lotto draw will see an additional €1 million to the Lotto Plus Raffle. The Lotto Plus Raffle typically sees between 80 and 120 winners of €500 in every draw but on Saturday night (1st May), players are set for a boost in their winnings. By topping up the raffle prize fund by €1 million, the National Lottery predicts that each winner of Saturday’s Lotto Plus Raffle draw will receive between €8,000 - €12,500.

A National Lottery spokesperson said, “We are encouraging all of our Lotto players in Dublin and Mayo to check their tickets carefully today as two lucky ticket holders have won €50,123 each. If you are one of these big winners, we ask that that you sign the back of your ticket and contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie, and we will make arrangements for you to claim your prize.”

The spokesperson added, “This Saturday’s Lotto draw will mark our second Lotto Plus Raffle of the year. Not only could we see a new National Lottery millionaire being made this weekend but the guaranteed to be won €1 million in the Lotto Plus Raffle means that there will be an increase of big winners all over the country. On a normal night, Lotto Plus Raffle winners are guaranteed to win €500 but this Saturday, we are predicting each winner will receive between €8,000 and 12,500, depending on the number of winners.”

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. In total more than €5.8 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 33 years ago. In 2020 alone, €254 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
