Lotto bonus for Meath and Westmeath players who share €66,887 in Saturday night’s draw

Lotto jackpot continues to roll with Wednesday’s jackpot heading for €8.5 million (est)

Two Lotto players from Meath and Westmeath will share a Lotto prize of €66,887 after both came to within one number of Saturday night’s Lotto jackpot which was worth €8,082,909. Both players matched five numbers and the bonus ball on the main Lotto draw and will each get a cash prize of €33,443.

The lucky Westmeath winner bought their Quick Pick ticket at the Centra store at the M6 Service Station in Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath.

The winner from Meath, purchased their Quick Pick ticket online on www.lottery.ie.

The Lotto numbers from last night’s draw (Saturday 23rd January) were: 05, 11, 15, 19, 33, 40 and the bonus number was: 08. 

While there was no winner of last night’s €8,082,909 Lotto jackpot, there were more than 121,000 players who won prizes. This Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot (27th January) will roll to an estimated €8.5 million. 

A National Lottery spokesperson said, “While there was no winner of last night’s €8 million Lotto jackpot, two of our lucky players in Meath and Westmeath will share the Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize of €66,887. Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total more than €5.8 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 33 years ago. In 2020 alone, €254 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
