The amazing jackpot wins continued into March with a player in Dublin taking the title of third Lotto jackpot winner of 2022. The third month of the year also saw players all over the country scoop top prize amounts across a number of draws throughout the month.

On 5th March, an online player in Cork had a celebratory Saturday night after matching five numbers and the bonus to win €96,902. The Rebel Country player scooped their prize after purchasing their winning ticket online.
The following week, a Dublin player had an unforgettable weekend after winning the massive €5,365,262 jackpot on offer in the Saturday 12th March draw. The Dublin player became the third Lotto jackpot winner of the year after purchasing their winning ticket just off St. Stephen’s Green at the Chapter & Verse store on Lower Leeson Street. The winner followed in the footsteps of the €19.06 million Mayo jackpot winner in January and the €4.6 million jackpot win in Meath in February. On the same night, over 100,000 players won prizes across the Lotto and Lotto Plus games which included two players in Dublin and Offaly who matched five numbers and the bonus in the main draw to win €48,403 each. Three players in Meath, Westmeath and Wexford got their St. Patrick’s Day festivities off to an early start after sharing the Match 5 + Bonus prize on Wednesday 16th March to win €13,489 each. The Meath player scooped their share of the prize fund after purchasing their Quick Pick ticket at Castletown Stores in Castletown, Kilpatrick in Navan while the Wexford player purchased their Quick Pick ticket at Hammel’s Centra in Knocknagross, Bree. Meanwhile, the Westmeath winner won their share after purchasing their ticket online.
A Dublin player officially became the 14th National Lottery millionaire of 2022 after winning the top prize of €1 million in the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Saturday 19th March. The Dublin 3 winner purchased their winning ticket at family-run North Dublin Newsagents, Cleary’s Mace store on St. Gabriel’s Road in Clontarf.
On Saturday 26th March, a player in the Dublin 15 area became the biggest winner of the night after matching five numbers and the bonus to win an incredible €144,484. Their winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at the Tom Stanley kiosk in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre.
