With three newly minted millionaires already made in Dublin, Louth and Wicklow, a further two million euro prizes will be won on Friday 20th August. Pictured at the Spar store in Woodbine Park in Blackrock, Co. Dublin, staff celebrate after one of their customers won last Friday's (13th August) ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ prize of €1 million.
The ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ winning raffle code in last night’s €17 million EuroMillions draw, which is worth €1,005,000 (One Million and Five Thousand Euro) to one lucky online player in Louth is: I-LLM-66175. The special EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ event will come to a dramatic conclusion this Friday (20th August) when not one, but two additional €1 million prizes are guaranteed to be won by players in Ireland. There was no winner of last night’s €17 million draw which means that Friday night’s EuroMillions draw is heading for €30 million.
The National Lottery has confirmed that a notification to the user’s online account and a separate email has now been sent to the lucky Louth ticket holder who is encouraged to get in touch to begin the process of claiming their million euro prize.
How do I enter the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’?
Every player in Ireland who buys a ticket for any EuroMillions draw between Tuesday 10th and Friday 20th August will be automatically entered into the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ for that corresponding draw. A unique code on each ticket will be the player’s raffle number. Five players over the special event will become guaranteed millionaires. It could be you!
How does this work?
As with every EuroMillions draw the ‘Ireland Only Raffle' sees 10 winners, drawn at random, receive €5,000. One of these ten winners will then have an additional €1 million added to their prize in the first three of the four draws over the two weeks. On the fourth, and final, draw two winners of the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ will win an extra €1 million.
Meanwhile, the National Lottery have reminded Lotto players hoping to scoop tonight’s €11 million Lotto jackpot (estimated) to purchase their tickets early to avoid unnecessary queues in store ahead of the 7.45pm cut off time. The current Lotto jackpot has been rolling since Wednesday 9th June and the next winner will become the 6th Lotto jackpot winner of 2021.
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 34 years ago. In 2020 alone, €254 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
