Friday night win for Limerick player who scooped €500,000 in EuroMillions Plus draw

Tonight’s Lotto draw promises to see even BIGGER winners than usual in the Lotto Plus Raffle!

A EuroMillions player in Limerick got their weekend off to a celebratory start after scooping the top prize of €500,000 in Friday night’s Plus draw.

The winning numbers in last night’s EuroMillions Plus draw were: 17, 21, 28, 29, 42.

The Treaty County player became the biggest EuroMillions winner in Ireland last night after purchasing their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw at the Daybreak at Elm Court Service Station in Ballyneety, Co. Limerick.

Shop owner Aideen Fitzpatrick was delighted to get the call from the National Lottery about the big win for one of her customers.

“I was over the moon to get the call from Mary, our National Lottery rep, this morning with the wonderful news. We are all delighted here in the shop as this is the biggest win that we have ever had so I can only imagine how the winner is feeling. We have a team of 10 here and we have all been saying how brilliant this is for the community. There is sure to be big excitement as word spreads. We have a real mix of local and passing trade so the winner could be any where really. I’d say we will have lots of our customers calling in to us over the weekend to check their tickets eagerly and I wouldn’t blame them! We wish the winner all the very best with their huge win,” she said.

The Limerick winner, who now has a ticket worth an incredible €500,000, is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should make contact with the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their top prize amount.
