A million in the Mountain Top! Local Letterkenny store revealed as selling location for Daily Millions ticket worth €1 Million!

There will be plenty of cheering and celebrating in the hills of Donegal today after a local store in Letterkenny was revealed as the selling location for last Tuesday’s 9pm Daily Millions top prize ticket worth €1,000,000.  

Kelly's Centra in Mountain Top, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal sold the all-important winning ticket, which is now worth one million euro to one lucky player.  

 Mairtin Kelly, Owner of Kelly’s Centra, expressed his excitement of the win;  "Ah, sure, it's a day of pure joy and excitement here at our humble shop in beautiful Letterkenny! We're absolutely thrilled beyond words to have sold a winning Daily Millions ticket worth €1 Million to one of our cherished customers.  The winning numbers for Tuesday’s (16th May) 9pm draw were: 18, 25, 28, 31, 33, 37 and the bonus was 16 

The National Lottery has confirmed it’s still waiting to hear from the winner, and are urging all of its Daily Millions players, especially in Co. Donegal, to check their tickets carefully to make sure they don’t miss out on the incredible €1,000,000 prize. The Letterkenny ticketholder is advised to sign the back of their winning ticket and to keep it safe. The winner should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email mailto:claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.      

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “It’s been an incredible couple of months for Daily Millions players. So far this year, eight National Lottery players have scooped top prizes across the Daily Millions and Plus games. This latest win in Donegal is the 4th time a player has scooped the Daily Million top prize worth €1 Million so far this year following wins in Kerry, Dublin and Tipperary. We’re encouraging all our Daily Million players in Donegal to check their tickets carefully, and if they are the winner, sign the back of the ticket, and make contact with our prize claims team so that arrangements can be made for them to claim their life-changing prize.”  

Daily Million draws take place twice a day, seven days a week at 2pm and 9pm and costs just €1 per play.
