
Letterkenny Scores Another Big Win with €500,000 EuroMillions Plus Prize!

Letterkenny is celebrating another major National Lottery triumph as a player scooped the €500,000 Top Prize in yesterday’s (Friday, 25th April) EuroMillions Plus draw - marking the second big win for the town this year.
The player purchased their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw from Callaghan’s XL, Main Street, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.
The winning numbers in last night’s (Friday, 25th April) EuroMillions Plus draw were: 5, 16, 21, 36 and 46.
This is Letterkenny’s second high-tier win this year, with the €1,000,000 Daily Million Top Prize from 10th March also won in the town. The winning ticket was sold at Kernan’s Service Station, Tullygay, Letterkenny.
Darragh O’Dwyer, National Lottery spokesperson, said:
“What a night for Letterkenny as a player in the town has claimed a life-changing amount of money, winning the EuroMillions Plus top prize of €500,000! This is the 13th EuroMillions Plus win so far in 2025. In total over 49,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws.”

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total, more than €6.5 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 37 years ago. In 2023 alone, €227.9 Million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
