Lotto bonus for Kilkenny player who scoops €42,531 prize in Wednesday night’s draw

Lotto jackpot continues to roll with Saturday’s jackpot heading for an incredible €8 million (est)

A Lotto player in Co. Kilkenny was the biggest winner in Wednesday night’s €7.5 million draw after matching 5 numbers and the bonus to scoop a €42,531 prize in the main Lotto draw.

The lucky player who purchased their Quick Pick ticket at the Supervalu store in the Loughboy Shopping Centre on the outskirts of Kilkenny City, narrowly missed out on the €7,511,276 jackpot prize by matching five numbers and the bonus ball in Wednesday’s draw. This is the second big win at the Loughboy SuperValu store in the space of a year following another €500,000 EuroMillions Plus prize which was won last September.

The winning Lotto numbers from last night’s draw (Wednesday 11th May) were: 06, 26, 27, 40, 41, 45 and the bonus number was: 46.

With over 70,000 winners across Wednesday’s Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, the National Lottery are asking players across the country to check their tickets and the big Kilkenny winner of last night’s draw should contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.

As there was no outright winner of Wednesday’s €7,511,276 Lotto jackpot, Saturday’s (13th May) jackpot prize is set to roll to an estimated €8 million, which would make it the second highest Lotto jackpot prize of 2023 if won on Saturday night.
