Kildare player scores €500,000 in Tuesday’s EuroMillions Plus draw

The National Lottery also confirms the winner HAS made contact

The National Lottery has today confirmed that the winner of Tuesday night’s (21st February) EuroMillions Plus draw worth €500,000, HAS made contact and arrangements are being made for them to claim their prize.

The player, who wishes to remain private, purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw at the popular Applegreen service station on Sallins Road, Naas, Co. Kildare.

Anna Quish, Manager of the store, was ecstatic to get the call that one of their customers has won half a million euro: “I’m absolutely delighted! I’ve worked with Applegreen for 17 years and I’ve been manager in the station here in Naas for the last five years. This is by far the biggest win we’ve ever had in the store. We just can’t believe one of our customers woke up this morning half a million euro richer! What a lovely surprise to get. We’ve lots of regular customers who come in everyday, so I really hope it’s one of them. It’s just a dream come true to win an amount like that and we’re delighted for whoever has won it. All of us here at Applegreen in Naas wish the winner all the very best of luck with their prize”.
