Simple as 5-4-3-2-1! Galway player wins €40,000 Lotto bonus

Galway Player Wins EUR40,000 on its Lotto 54321

The National Lottery is calling on its Lotto players in Galway to check their tickets after a prize worth a €40,000 was won on its Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 game on last night’s draw (28th November).

Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 is a game based upon the results of Lotto, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 draws. In this game players decide how many numbers they play, predicting between one and five of the numbers drawn in Lotto, Lotto Plus 1 or Lotto Plus 2.

This winning ticket, which matched five numbers out of seven on the Lotto Plus game, was sold at Dunnes Stores in the Westside Shopping Centre on Seamus Quirke Road, Co. Galway.

A spokesperson for the National Lottery said: “We are asking our Lotto players in Galway to check their tickets carefully. If you are this lucky winner please sign the back of the ticket and get in touch with the National Lottery claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and we will make arrangements for you to get your prize. Excitement is also building across the country as the Lotto jackpot has rolled to its highest level of the year. As people across Ireland are decking the halls with Christmas decorations, what an amazing Christmas it would be for someone who was lucky enough to win this.”

Wednesday’s €11 million (est) Lotto jackpot will be largest of 2020

While there were more than 143,000 winners last night, there was no winner of the Lotto jackpot worth €10,284,221 and it heads for a whopping €11 million for this coming Wednesday’s draw.

In last night’s €10.2 million Lotto draw, 19 players came agonisingly close to the jackpot, missing out by just one number.

Ahead of Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot draw which has been rolling since Saturday 26th September, the National Lottery has confirmed that over €116 million has been won in prizes in the Lotto game in 2020 which includes 17 new millionaires who have been created in Lotto and Lotto Plus games.

In that period there have been 25 top prize winners including 10 Lotto jackpot winners, eight Lotto Plus 1 top prize winners of €1 million each and eight Lotto Plus 2 top prize winners of €250,000.
