Galway EuroMillions player scoops €27,310 prize in Tuesday night’s €145 million draw

The National Lottery have urged the residents in the Oughterard area of Galway to check their tickets after one lucky EuroMillions player won €27,310 by matching 5 numbers in Tuesday night’s draw. The Galway player was two lucky star numbers (numbered between 1-12) away from winning the incredible €145,042,671 jackpot prize on offer.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold on 6th February in the Day Today store on Bridge Street in Oughterard, Co. Galway.

The winning EuroMillions numbers for last night’s draw were: 05, 10, 24, 31, 37 and lucky stars 09 and 10.

The winning ticket holder is advised to sign the back of their ticket and to get in touch with the National Lottery claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.

While there were over 77,000 EuroMillions players in Ireland who won prizes in last night’s draw (9th February), there was no overall winner of the hefty €145,042,671 jackpot. Friday night’s EuroMillions jackpot now rolls to a whopping €165 million.

This marks the second EuroMillions win in Galway in less than a week as another lucky local who bought their Quick Pick ticket in O’Toole’s on Bishop Street in Tuam won the €500,000 EuroMillions Plus jackpot in Friday’s (5th February) draw.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total more than €5.8 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 33 years ago. In 2020 alone, €254 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
