Here are some of our biggest winners from February!

February proved to be a huge month for National Lottery players all over the country with two massive jackpots won by players in Meath and Clare, as well as of course our top prize winners from throughout the month.

A Wexford player became the first top prize Lotto winner of the month after scooping €1 million in the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Saturday 5th February. The winning ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at Delaney’s Newsagents on Rafter Street in Enniscorthy.

On Wednesday 9th February, a Lotto player in Meath became the second Lotto jackpot winner of the year after scooping €4,687,615. There were lots of celebrations in the Royal County after the winning ticket was purchased at the same store that sold the winning Millionaire Raffle ticket less than two months earlier. Scally’s Centra in Summerhill were delighted to hear that another one of their customers had come into good luck and taken the title of latest Lotto jackpot winner. In the same midweek draw, two players in Donegal and Wexford matched five numbers and the bonus to win an incredible €105,046 each. The Donegal player scooped their share of the Match 5 + Bonus prize after purchasing their Quick Pick ticket at Sharkey’s Service Station on the Gweedore Road in Dungloe, Co. Donegal. At the opposite end of the country, the Wexford winner won their €105,046 prize after purchasing their ticket at Osborne’s Daybreak on the Arklow Road in Gorey.

The following draw on Saturday 12th February saw a player in Wexford become the biggest winner of the night after winning the top prize of €250,000 in the Lotto Plus 2 draw. The Sunny South East win marked the second top prize win for a Wexford Lotto player in the space of just a week after the winning ticket was sold at the Mace store on the Main Street in Ferns. On the same night, two players in Dublin and Westmeath matched five numbers and the bonus in the main draw to win €28,231 each. The Dublin winner purchased their winning ticket at Centrepoint Stores in Donaghmede Shopping Centre while the Westmeath player won their share of the Match 5+Bonus prize after purchasing their ticket online at www.lottery.ie.

Over 79,000 players nationwide won prizes across the Lotto and Lotto Plus games on Wednesday 16th February, which included a player in the Barna area of Galway who matched five numbers and the bonus to win €41,295. The winning ticket was purchased at Clarkes Supervalu in Barna Village, Barna, Co. Galway.

The Saturday 19th February Lotto draw marked the second Lotto Plus Raffle promotion of the year which saw 97 players get a massive boost to their winnings as the National Lottery topped up the Lotto Plus Raffle with an additional €1 million. The Lotto Plus Raffle typically sees between 80 and 120 winners of €500 in every draw but as there was an additional €1 million added to the prize fund, the 97 Raffle winners each won €10,809.

Cork was celebrating after the Wednesday 23rd February Lotto draw when a Rebel County player scooped the top prize of €1 million in the midweek Lotto Plus 1 draw. The winning ticket was purchased in the Spar store just off the N22 in Lissarda, Co. Cork. The Wednesday winner became the third National Lottery millionaire from Cork so far this year.

In the last Lotto draw of the month on Saturday 26th February, a player in Kerry matched five numbers and the bonus to win an incredible €156,493. The winning ticket was purchased at Deo’s Post Office in O’Connell’s Foodstore in Portmagee, Co. Kerry.


A EuroMillions player in Clare became the 17th EuroMillions jackpot winner ever seen in Ireland on Friday 11th February after winning the incredible amount of €30,928,078. The winning ticket was sold at a family-run service station located on the border of Clare, Limerick and Tipperary. There were celebrations for days at Larkin’s Gala Service Station, Garryurtneal, Ballina, Killaloe following the announcement of the news. Prior to the big win, the most recent EuroMillions jackpot won in Ireland was in July 2020 by an online player in Dublin who won a €49.5 million jackpot.

Earlier in the month, a South Dublin EuroMillions player started their month off by winning €70,536 on Tuesday 1st February. The Match 5 winner purchased their winning ticket at Spar Walkinstown at Walkinstown Cross in Dublin 12. Later that same week, a EuroMillions player in Sligo had a Friday to remember after scooping the top prize of €500,000 in the 4th February EuroMillions Plus draw. The winning ticket was sold at Conway’s Newsagents in the Quinnsworth Arcade on O’Connell Street in Sligo.

Two weeks later, it was a player in Kildare getting their weekend off to a celebratory start after matching five numbers and one lucky star in the 18th February draw to win an incredible €349,382. The winning ticket was purchased at the Circle K on the Dublin Road in Athy, Co. Kildare.

A Dublin player in the seaside town of Rush had a Friday to remember on 25th February after matching five numbers and one lucky star to win €184,665. The North County Dublin winner purchased their ticket at Rush Fuel Services. 


A Daily Million player who purchased their ticket for the 9pm draw on Thursday 17th February at a busy Dublin 5 newsagents became the tenth National Lottery millionaire of the year after scooping the top prize of €1 million. The winning ticket was purchased at Jay’s Newsagents on Rosemount Avenue in Artane, Dublin 5.
