Celebrations in The Kingdom! EuroMillions player in Kerry wins €500,000 in Tuesday night draw

EuroMillions players in Tralee are today being urged to check their tickets carefully after a Kerry player scooped the top prize of €500,000 in Tuesday night’s EuroMillions Plus draw. The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Monday 27th December at Hussey’s Shop on Prince Street in Tralee, Co. Kerry.

The winning numbers for last night’s (28th December) EuroMillions Plus draw were: 11, 19, 26, 31, 49.

Shop owner Gerard Hussey was thrilled to hear that one of his customers won the top prize amount: “Our family-run shop serves quite a local community so we are certain that there will be great excitement around the town as soon as word spreads. My wife Triona runs the shop and we would know a lot of our regulars so I’m sure they will all be eager to check their tickets as soon as they realise that we sold one worth €500,000. This is also the biggest prize that we have ever sold so we are delighted. We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that the winner checks their ticket and realises that they have the winning one soon!”

The Kerry winner, who now has a ticket worth €500,000, is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place. The winner should contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.

A EuroMillions player in France won last night’s incredible jackpot of €79,411,191 which means that Friday’s EuroMillions jackpot is guaranteed to be €17 million.
