Celebrations in Galway, Tipperary and Wicklow after Friday’s EuroMillions draw!

Wicklow winner scoops €318,087 after matching five numbers and one lucky star

TWO players win €500,000 each in EuroMillions Plus draw

Three EuroMillions players in Galway, Tipperary and Wicklow had a Friday night to remember after becoming the biggest winners of the night in Ireland.

The main draw saw a Wicklow player match five numbers and one lucky star to win a massive €318,087. The Garden of Ireland winner purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket at The Gem on Quinsborough Road in Bray on the day of the draw.

Bonnie Chen, owner of The Gem, was thrilled to get the good news: “We’re a busy shop here on Quinsborough Road with lots of locals coming into us regularly as well as people passing through the town. I took over the shop in 2019 and this is the biggest prize that we’ve sold so it’s definitely exciting! There are 7 of us here on the team so I can’t wait to tell the rest of the staff – they will be delighted when they hear the news. Hopefully the winner checks their ticket soon to see how much it’s actually worth,” she said.

The winning numbers in Friday’s (23rd June) EuroMillions draw were: 01, 03, 11, 33, 46 and lucky stars 10, 11.

Meanwhile, two players in Galway and Tipperary both scooped the top prize of €500,000 in last night’s EuroMillions Plus draw. The West of Ireland winner purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket at Corrib Oil in Brackernagh, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway on the day of the draw while the Tipperary winner purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket at Lidl in Thurles on the day of the draw.

The winning numbers in last night’s EuroMillions Plus draw were: 16, 17, 21, 26, 31

While there was no winner of the €17 million jackpot on offer, over 47,000 players in Ireland won prizes across the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws. Tuesday’s jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €25 million.
