A Dublin player has gotten their weekend off to a dream start by winning €2,000 per month for the next 5 years in last night’s (20th March) EuroDreams draw. The Dubliner secured the tier 2 prize after matching 6 numbers in Thursday’s draw.
The EuroDreams numbers in last night’s draw were: 16, 23, 25, 37, 38, 40 and the Dream number was 5.
The winning ticket was purchased as a quick pick on the day of the draw. Tomorrow, Saturday, 22nd March, the National Lottery will reveal the location of the Dublin store where the winning ticket was sold.
EuroDreams launched in Ireland just two years ago, and unlike other draw-based games, the annuity top prize which is worth €7.2 Million will be paid in monthly tax-free payments of €20,000 spread over 30 years. Similarly, the Tier 2 prize will be paid in monthly tax-free payments of €2,000 spread over 5 years. The game is played in eight countries, namely Ireland, Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland, with draws taking place every Monday and Thursday evening at usual National Lottery agents nationwide, online or at www.lottery.ie or through the National Lottery app.
The National Lottery is urging all players in the Dublin area to check their tickets carefully and if you’re holding the winning ticket, be sure to contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie to arrange the collection of your prize.
Emma Monaghan, spokesperson for the National Lottery said, "It's a Friday feeling like no other for one of our EuroDreams players in Dublin. This is such a fantastic prize that will provide financial security and a little extra luxury for the next 5 years. We’re thrilled for our winner and can’t wait to celebrate with them in our Winners Room!"
Meanwhile, tonight’s EuroMillions Jackpot rolls to an estimated €200 Million. Players dreaming of becoming Ireland’s newest Millionaire are reminded that tickets for tonight's EuroMillions draw can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or at http://www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.30pm cut-off time for sales this evening.

In total, more than €6.5 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 37 years ago.
