XL Celebrations in Dundalk as local store sells Lotto ticket worth over €3.5 Million

Check those tickets! Louth Jackpot winner yet to come forward to claim life-changing amount

It was a day for champagne celebrations in the Wee County as Arthur’s XL Shop on the Newry Road in Dundalk was revealed as the selling location for Wednesday’s Jackpot winning ticket worth an astonishing €3,523,021.

Brian Duffy, who owns the store with his wife Clodagh, was thrilled to hear the news so soon after selling another large prize: “Two months with two big wins for our customers! Back in January, we sold an All Cash Platinum Scratch Card with a €75,000 prize and now the winning has gotten even bigger for February. We are delighted for the winner – imagine checking your ticket to see it’s worth over €3.5 Million. Myself and my wife took over the shop back in December 2021 from my wife’s father so this has been our biggest win since then. There is sure to be lots of excitement in-store as the news spreads and of course around the town as well. We have a real mix of locals who come into us daily as well as passing trade from far and wide as we are located not too far from the border. The winner really could be anywhere, so we wish them all the very best with their huge win.”

The National Lottery are continuing to appeal to Louth Lotto players to check their tickets carefully as Wednesday’s Jackpot winner is yet to make contact. The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold on Sunday 11th February and the winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket. Ireland’s newest multi-Millionaire should make contact with the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their life-changing amount.

Wednesday’s Lotto Jackpot winner who now has a ticket worth €3,523,021 has become the secondLotto Jackpot winner of 2024 following an online player in Dublin who scooped over €14.67 Million at the end of January.
