Dublin's lucky EuroMillions Plus streak continues as Capital gets its fourth €500,000 win in June

Dublin's 4th EuroMillions Plus EUR500k Win in June

Wicklow online player one number short of sharing €51 million EuroMillions jackpot

Dublin’s lucky streak of EuroMillions Plus wins continued last night as the National Lottery confirmed that the Capital had its fourth EuroMillions Plus €500,000 win in the month of June alone!

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased online yesterday by a player with an address registered in Dublin. This is the fifth EuroMillions Plus top prize to be won in Ireland this month, with four of these going to Dublin players.

Last night’s winning EuroMillions Plus numbers which are now worth €500,000 for one lucky player were: 01, 24, 29, 34 and 40.

Another online EuroMillions player in Wicklow fell one number short of winning the entire €51,471,751 jackpot but won a cool €75,645.

The National Lottery is now urging its EuroMillions players in Dublin and Wicklow who play online to check their emails to see if they are the lucky winners of these two prizes.

The National Lottery has stated that emails confirming the two prizes have now been sent to the inboxes of the respective winners in Dublin and Wicklow. A spokesperson said: “What a month June is for EuroMillions Plus wins. To have had five in the month is fantastic and the game has proved to be a boon for Dublin players, who won four of the five! We were also so, so close to having Ireland’s 16th EuroMillions jackpot winner. We are encouraging all of our online and App players to check their emails and to contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and we will make arrangements for you to collect your prize”.

Incredibly, this is the 16th EuroMillions Plus top prize to be won in Ireland so far this year who have shared a combined €8 million on the Plus game alone. While there was no winner of last night’s EuroMillions jackpot of €51,471,751 more than 60,000 players in Ireland were prize winners. Next Tuesday’s EuroMillions jackpot now heads for a whopping €60 million.

The National Lottery has also reminded players that it has extended the period of time that lucky winners can collect prizes due to COVID health restrictions. This means that any lucky winners of Lotto, EuroMillions, Telly Bingo and Daily Millions draws from 9th January 2020 until draws in the week 5th July 2020 will have an extra three months in which they can claim their prize. The prize claims extension applies to winners who purchased their tickets and certain scratch card games in-store, online at www.lottery.ie and via the National Lottery App.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total more than €5.6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 33 years ago. In 2019 alone, €252 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
