Stepping into Christmas with a €1 Million top prize win! Dublin Daily Million player gets into the festive spirit by claiming life-changing prize

Tonight’s Lotto Jackpot heading towards €9.2 Million estimated

A Daily Million player had a Christmas week to remember after dropping into Lotto HQ to pick up a life-changing prize worth €1 Million. The Dublin winner was over the moon after purchasing their winning ticket at the Centra store at the Texaco Service Station on the Malahide Road in Dublin 17 for the 2pm draw on Saturday 9th December.

The winner admitted that it was a few days before they realized they had won.

“To be honest, I didn’t even know that a top prize had been won that day so when I was scanning my ticket to check it, I wasn’t even thinking anything of it. When I got the ‘You’ve Won Big’ message, I checked my numbers and it was the most surreal thing. I almost didn’t believe what I was seeing. I have been playing for years and never ever in my wildest dreams thought that I’d be sitting here in the Winners Room. It’s knowing that I am helping Good Causes that actually keeps me playing. I have seen the benefits that the contributions have made to groups in my community and that genuinely is what keeps me playing – I swear, I’m not just saying that!”

“I didn’t think I would be sitting here during Christmas week, let alone ever, so it still doesn’t seem real to me. Talk about a real pinch me moment! This certainly has been a lovely way to end the year and it’s be a great start to 2024.”
