Daily Million player in Dublin scoops top prize of €1 million in Thursday afternoon’s draw

Daily Million players are being urged to check their tickets carefully after a player in Dublin won the top prize of €1 million in Thursday’s 2pm draw. The National Lottery hopes to reveal further details of the winning store location in the coming days. 

The Daily Million winner has officially taken the title of 29th National Lottery millionaire of the year. 

The winning numbers for Thursday’s (22nd September) 2pm draw were: 02, 10, 20, 21, 38, 39 and the bonus 12.

The Dublin winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket, which is now worth €1 million, and keep it in a safe place. The winner should contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize. 

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “A Daily Million player in Dublin will be celebrating this weekend after becoming Ireland’s newest National Lottery millionaire following Thursday’s 2pm draw. We are encouraging all of our Daily Million players in Dublin to check their tickets carefully and the winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and to make contact with our prize claims team so that arrangements can be made for them to claim their life-changing prize.”

Daily Million draws take place twice a day, seven days a week at 2pm and 9pm and costs just €1 per play. 

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 35 years ago. In 2021 alone, €304 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
