Daily Million Plus player in County Dublin wins top prize of €500,000

The National Lottery are urging Daily Million players in the seaside town of Rush in North Co. Dublin to check their tickets carefully today after one lucky ticket holder scooped the top prize of €500,000 in the Daily Million Plus 9pm draw last night.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at the Tesco Superstore on Whitestown Road in Rush on the day of the draw.

The winning numbers for last night’s (Thursday 15th April) 9pm draw were: 08, 14, 15, 16, 23, 38 and the bonus 28.

Tesco Rush Store Manager, Gary O’Regan, shared his delight at hearing the good news: “We are thrilled to hear that one of our Tesco Rush, Co. Dublin customers is the lucky winner of such a fantastic prize. We are delighted for the winner, whoever that is, and we’d like to pass on our congratulations from the whole team in Tesco Rush.”

The winning ticket holder is advised to sign the back of their ticket and to get in touch with the National Lottery claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.

This is the second time this week that Dublin has seen a big National Lottery winner. On Wednesday night, a Lotto player in the Dublin 6W area matched five numbers and the bonus to win €208,132 in the main draw. The winner bought their ticket at the Circle K service station on the Lower Kimmage Road on Sunday 11th April.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. In total more than €5.8 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 33 years ago. In 2020 alone, €254 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
