We have a team of around 20 working here and we’re all just over the moon as it’s not everyday that you hear that one of your customer’s has become an overnight Millionaire. The shop is located in the heart of the town here in Westport and all year round we’re kept busy with local and holiday trade. As a family run store, we’re all delighted for the winner and wish them all the very best with their huge win.”

A Cork syndicate made the trip to Lotto Headquarters to collect their €500,000 EuroMillions Plus top prize which they won in the 25th June draw after purchasing their ticket at SuperValu Grange-Ryan in the Frankfield Shopping Centre on the Grange Road in Douglas, Cork.
The syndicate manager admitted that it felt like a big responsibility keeping the ticket safe for the past few weeks and was thrilled to hand it over to officially claim their prize.
“I checked the ticket the day after the draw on my phone and couldn’t really believe what I was seeing. I texted everyone in the group to say I think we’ve won and I’d say they all thought I was having them on. They were all getting excited and checking our numbers then! I rang the Claims Department on the Monday morning and could finally breath a sigh of relief when they confirmed we had won. It’s been tough work keeping the ticket hidden and not worrying about it to be honest. I don’t know what I thought could possibly happen to it but I’m happy to finally hand it over and not have to think about it any more – and of course to see all those zeroes on our cheque,” they said.
