Cavan Player Scoops a Cool €265,150 in Tuesday’s EuroMillions Draw

Latest Cavan winner was one number short of scooping €49 million EuroMillions jackpot

EuroMillions players in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan have this morning been urged to check their tickets after Tuesday night’s draw in Paris produced a Match 5 + Lucky Star winner of €265,150. The Cavan player matched five numbers and one lucky star number, meaning he or she was one lucky star number (from 1-12) short of winning the mind-blowing €49 million EuroMillions jackpot on offer.

This is the second big EuroMillions win for Co. Cavan in the space of a week after another player in Baileboro bagged a EuroMillions Plus top prize of €500,000 on Tuesday 28th July.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold on Sunday 2nd August at the Applegreen service station on the Dublin Road in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan.

The winning EuroMillions Plus numbers are: 01, 02, 05, 15, 42 and the Lucky Stars were 05 & 08.

There was no winner of Tuesday’s €49 million EuroMillions jackpot which means that Friday’s jackpot is now heading for a massive €65 million.

Bhupendre Choudhary, manager of the lucky Applegreen store in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan expressed his delight after learning that one of his customers had picked up such a huge prize in Tuesday night’s EuroMillions draw, “It’s another big EuroMillions win for Cavan and most importantly, this time one of our very own customers picks up this huge prize. We are absolutely delighted for them. The whole town will be buzzing this morning and no doubt we’ll have a lot of people in the store to check their tickets in the hope that they might be over a quarter of a million richer today!”
